There are many apps available to help you get started. Some are free but many have a fee. Most apps don't actually provide true mindfulness meditations, but they can be great ways to get started and grow your understanding and abilities. Be sure to work towards unguided, breathing-focused meditations. Below are some suggested apps.
Calm provides professionally produced content. The full version comes with a fee.
Headspace provides professionally produced content. The full version comes with a fee.
Insight Timer provides professionally & user developed content. The full version comes with a fee.
Plum Village provides content that is produced by Buddhist Monks in the Plum Village Tradition. It is free.
