Emotion Reflex Model and Emotion Reflex Therapy

People do not exist in isolation. Every day, we respond to opportunities, demands, stressors, and relationships that shape the paths available to us. Over time, these experiences influence the pathways we rely upon, the options we perceive, and the trajectories our lives follow.

Our approach to therapy is informed by the Emotion Reflex Model (ERM) and Emotion Reflex Therapy (ERT). We have developed these frameworks to better understand how people adapt to the environments they encounter and how those adaptations influence health, relationships, decision making, and overall well-being. Together, they provide a foundation for helping individuals identify constraints, strength resilience, expand possibilities, and create meaningful change.

ERM and ERT are built on a simple premise: people make the best decisions they can from within the circumstances they face. Small changes in circumstances, relationships, resources, or perspectives can alter the trajectory of a person's life in meaningful ways. When these circumstances become constraining, people may feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unable to move toward what matters most. Our approach helps individuals better understand these influences, identify opportunities for growth, and develop the flexibility needed to create new pathways forward.
